Cherries are often sold with a coating of gum Arabic that prevents moisture adsorption during shipment. Would this have any adverse nutritional effects?
Hello there, gun arabic is just the sap of a tree. It is used as a stabiliser in certain foods. I would have thought it was acceptable, but better to not have any adulteration to the food if possible. Best wishes, Robert
